The instrumentation usually includes a front line of trumpet, clarinet, and trombone. The genre has seen multiple revivals in the 1930s and 1970s, and some of its most well-known artists include Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, W.C. Handy, New Black Eagle Jazz Band, Wynton Marsalis.
